Algbra is an ethical fintech building Sharia-compliant banking products. They needed a production-quality investor demo app — functional enough to demonstrate the product vision, polished enough for a board presentation. The deadline was 5 days.
The challenge: there were no Figma files, no design system documentation, no API specs. The only reference was the live website and app screenshots. Starting from scratch would take weeks. We needed another approach.

Automated Design Extraction
We built an automated pipeline to extract design tokens from the live site — colors, typography, spacing, component patterns — and reconstructed the design system programmatically. This gave us pixel-accurate brand consistency without needing a single design file.
The demo app was built in Flutter with synthetic banking data that felt realistic: transaction histories, balance charts, spending categories, and a Sharia-compliance indicator. Every screen was a faithful representation of the product vision.

The demo was delivered on time and used in the investor presentation. The automated design extraction approach has since been reused across multiple projects where design files aren't available — a methodology that came from solving a constraint.
